Here are some of my photography projects I worked on at GCSE level, I received 96/96 on my coursework achieving a grade 9.

Combinations

These photographs are a few of my favourites from my year 10 photography project titled ‘Combinations’. In this project I looked at photographers such as: Helmo, Antonio Mora, Jelle Martens and Legan Rooster.

Fairy tales

These photographs are from a project I chose titled ‘Surreal’. The fairytales featured are: Beauty and the Beast, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Snow Queen and Snow White and Rose Red.

Light

These photographs are from my very first photography project: ‘Manual Settings’. I experimented with aperture, shutter speed and ISO to take these photos and after began to use Photoshop to edit them. I mainly focused on light and was inspired by photographers such as Brandon Woelfel and Michael Bosanko.

Levitation

These photographs are also from my ‘Surreal’ project. I chose to include them because it was my first real experience as an individual photographer, I had to organise ‘models’ and plan my locations and the poses I wanted to include. These photos were taken in Bournemouth and Crete and they were inspired by the works of Christopher James.

Nature

These two photographs were part of my entry into a local photography competition, it was my first experience using a macro lens and I found it really difficult at first to adjust the focus because it had a completely different scale of zoom compared to the normal.
